DeMorgen Fortunately, Faith No More is a combination band, and there was enough material from the classic Angel Dust on the program to convince. Sometimes provocative, sometimes funny, but always sharp and to the point. "Thank you for being so patient with us," Patton winked when the spark didn't immediately flash. And also: "We are having a great time here. I wish Dave Grohl would break his leg every day. Just kidding!" Af

Most visitors should know the band very well - from times when the mixture of hip-hop

But we do suspect Mike Patton that he designed it with Graspop in mind. As an absolute finale, how can you still be shocked after three days at a metal festival where Godfather of Shock Rock himself, Alice Cooper, has already brought out swords, guillotines and straitjackets? Faith No More 'The Real Thing' Q&A

Faith No More's third studio album was released thirty one years ago on June 20th 1989. In 2019, to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of their first album with Mike Patton we asked you to send us your questions for the core members of FNM - Mike Bordin, Roddy Bottum and Billy Gould. The response was extraordinary! As a drummer I've always been curious as to why you play your rack toms so flat. Especially with such big tom sizes. I've met you in person, you're a short dude. Seems like a strange setup. But hey, you're the man! Umm, thanks for that? Regarding the flat set up, there are many reasons/benefits. The main ones, off the top of my head, are as follows: The big tom sizes are for tone

La Grosse In the middle of the evening, the Mainstage 2 offers an idyllic setting: an orange sunset, coupled with pink / purple lights, enhances a most singular scene. Indeed, the frame in which one of the biggest names of this Hellfest is about to play stands out: white, flowers, flowers and flowers. Faithful to themselves, the Americans of Faith No More do nothing like the others and seem more than expected. The musicians, all d

On June 16th 2015 Faith No More returned to Maida Vale studios in London to record their third live set at the famous BBC Radio One recording hub. "The Maida Vale show was interesting because we’d been on tour at the time and playing every night. The sound on stage is much much different. On stage it’s a bit of a cacophony. Maida Vale allowed us to hear everything super specifically and precisely. It’ kind of upped the ante in terms of playing together. There’s also a lot of history in that building that made the experience really special." - Roddy 2015 On June 16th 2015 Faith No More returned to Maida Vale studios in London to record their fourth live set at the famous BBC Radio One record

He wondered would the Scots alleged penchant for deep frying things extend to his genitalia, berated the audience for mocking them for being fat and old and challenged one audience member to a fight. All this in between breezy, good natured, charming chats. The Herald Even the support acts at Faith No More can be unconventi

Faith No More | Wembley Arena, London - June 13th, 1992

On June 13th 1992 Faith No More played Wembley Stadium in London, sharing the bill with Soundgarden and Guns N' Roses. Kerrang! | Issue 398 | Paul Henderson WHILE THE stage-front security battalion worked their nuts off hauling an endless stream of limp, semi-conscious bodies to safety over the barrier, passing water to a sea of desperate, outstretched hands and spraying it onto the crushed and dehydrating casualties out of reach, Soundgarden's intro tape kicked into action. No one, it appeared, recognised it. Four figures walked onto the stage as unobtrusively as crewmen had dune all afternoon, and with the audience still entertaining itself with the Mexican wave, Soundgarden were half-way

Listen To Dead Cross Cover Of Black Flag's 'Rise Above'

Dave Lombardo, Michael Crain, Justin Pearson and Mike Patton have recorded a version of the classic Black Flag song. This is the second politically charged song featuring Patton (aka The Lonely Rager) and Lombardo recently with Mr. Bungle releasing The Exploited song Fuck The USA. Dead Cross - Rise Above (Black Flag cover) created in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and staunchly opposing police brutality and systemic racism. As such, the track opens with a recording of a Los Angeles resident voicing his displeasure with the LAPD during a public comment period from a regularly scheduled LA police commission meeting. The video for Rise Above was edited by Displaced/Replaced, wh
